Hey brian I found this article, and it seems like philomena mccan actually contacted you, and ur drawings were apparently handed to the police, u should check it out, what looked weird to me was when they mentioned the building that was in ur RV's, they should check that out, maybe someone who was there know what happened to this little girl.

Hi All.
This is a reply I received to an email I sent to the FIND MADELEINE website in December 2009 urging them to please take a look at Brians Dreams website and missing forum.  I also emailed the Leicestershire police and various UK tabloid newspapers (which I am yet to hear back from).  Im pretty sure this is a standard response however if we can just get somebody looking it might just make the difference.  Not sure if this will help find Madeliene if the response we get is "theres nothing in it", that makes no sense to me!

regarding the last line of the the news article mentioned above.  it said...

Just for everyones information - this is the estraella resort (sp) which as most of you know was the building that brian drew many times with the zig zag detail on the balcony) and was indeed where the worlds media were staying.

I still wonder why they never search those buildings?, and why kate and gerry don't want to return to the resort where Maddie dissapeared, if it were my daughter that was missing I would move heaven n earth to find her, talking is not enough, for God's sake is being 2 years going on 3 n this child hasn't been found, apparently whoever comitted this horrible crime, has done a good job, hopefully somebody will come in play n destroy his plans.

Since the early days of MM’s disappearance, I have been sending a lot of Brian’s info to the Leicestershire police & referring them to Brian’s site, so they were informed.

Apart from the media staying there, the only other connection I have found to this place, is that Martin Smith is part owner of one apartment at the Estrela da Luz – I posted info on the forum somewhere.
 
The Martin Smith family from Drohegda, Ireland, sighted a man carrying a little blonde girl around 10pm on the night Madeleine went missing on 3rd May 2007, when the whole family were walking back to the Estrela da Luz apartments, from Kelly’s Bar in Praia da Luz & the sighting took place on the road just outside of the LuzDoc medical building.

Their sighting was reported to the police & it was only when Martin Smith & his family got back to Ireland, that they saw the video footage on different UK tv news, of the McCann’s landing back in the UK after they were made arguidos, that Martin Smith came forward to say that he thought it was Gerry McCann carrying the blonde girl, going by Gerry’s same stance carrying one of the twins from the plane onto the tarmac, when Gerry spoke a few words.

It was then said that it could not have been possible to have been Gerry carrying the little blond girl on the night of 3rd May 2007 because he was seated at the Tapas restaurant. But according to Goncalo Amaral, apparently the witnesses were not credible.

Martin Smith was meant to go back to Portugal for further interviewing re their sighting, but this did not happen.

Brian Kennedy, the McCann’s financial backer, met with Martin Smith & nothing more was heard from Martin Smith & his family re any further interviewing.

Just as Dr Goncalo Amaral, the Portuguese Police (PJ) co-ordinator on the search for Madeleine (not Inspector as some say) was arranging for Martin Smith to return to Portugal for further interviewing, arranging his accommodation etc - along with the sightings of the McCann couple being seen walking towards an apartment block close to the cemetery in Praia da Luz, and GA saying, if there was involvement of the parents it would have been towards the beach area which would only take 15minutes to get there & would link with the Martin Smith family sighting - Goncalo Amaral was then removed from the case & the case archived – GA said: “almost looking as if the investigation was syndicated”. Goncalo Amaral co-ordinated the case from 3 May to 2 October. Five months.

Although I believe that Madeleine is still alive (as per Brian’s dreams, Matthew James insights, Gale St John’s insights & Psychic Zac’s insights) and as Brian, Gale & Zac say, she is being held in a basement in or around Praia da Luz - it is still interesting to read what Dr Goncalo Amaral has to say, with regards to him being more concerned about Madeleine than the parents & to finding out the truth, him obviously not happy about being taken off half-way through a case although he believed the person replacing him would be more efficient, had concerns about the Martin Smith family sighting interview planned not being dealt with following Goncalo Amaral’s departure, as well as the reconstruction not being done, or the Gaspers couple statements re suspicions of David Payne behaviour towards Madeleine on a previous holiday not being looked into further after Goncalo Amaral was removed from the case. He also says that the strategy of a possible death was decided by various English police sections & Portuguese police, and he did think that the case would be archived as soon as he was removed from the case.

Is anyone able to point me in the direction of the PdL cemetery to see it’s positioning?

I’m curious at what apartments are close to the cemetery after reading that there were sightings of the McCann’s being sighted going towards an apartment close to the cemetery & it’s the first time I’ve read that.
I got the impression when reading it, that it was next to the PdL church, but I cant see it on Google maps.

Of course, it could be a false sighting of the McCann’s & I’m surprised that there was not much media news on that.
I picked that info up off of a website where Goncalo Amaral actually quoted as saying that himself. Him being taken off the case, seems to have quite bad timing for him. But obviously suited someone?
If I find the text/weblink again, I will post it. I sometimes capture new info & must have it somewhere, but I normally prefer to provide a link as proof of text.

It seems the Portuguese outlets have more information than what gets through to the UK press. Some of those sites that translate from Portuguese to English, are worth reading, as it gives you a different insight than what the UK want us to believe it seems, where it sometimes gives the impression that there is something to hide & could be why some of these sites are being threatened to be taken down. I don’t support them, but I like to see things from different sides, so I read them. I see things mainly as I have a Google-Alert on Madeleine, so I don’t actually go searching for these sites. I have never written on any other blogs & forums, apart from Brian’s.

There are some clips/quotes/transcipts of what Goncalo Amaral has actually said himself, & I am more interested in reading facts & quotes, instead of believing the badly/incorrectly reported stories mainly released by the UK press.

I‘ve noticed many times that when Goncalo Amaral is interviewed by different journalists or tv hosts, when they just slightly change a story, Amaral is very very quick at correcting anything that is not true & refers them to something to prove it.

Although I am still a bit wary of GA - mainly because of the Cipriano beating link & my concern him saying that the ‘investigation’ (not just GA personally) believes MM died -  I’m quite intrigued by GA’s loyalty & how he often says that he is not so concerned about the McCann’s (only that as a father he understands their hurt of their child being missing through whatever circumstances) – his only concern is for Madeleine.
“Justice must be done for Madeleine, as for all other children and adults. It's my duty as a police officer: to seek the truth so that justice may be done.” – Goncalo Amaral.
I’m sure that most police officers would feel the same, but Dr Goncalo Amaral, now a retired police officer, is also a trained lawyer & now following this line of work. So I can imagine his justice for truth would be stronger than just a police officer.

  u r doing a really good job in this case, I just wish that someone would just try listening to brian, , maybe at the end his work turns out to be right, that would be just painful, they have nothing to lose, if it doesn't work out, well at least we'll know they tried but they have to do something quick

Around 10 children die as a result of falls each year - some from windows and balconies and the remainder mostly from stairs.

Children have also died or have been seriously injured by heavy objects such as furniture and televisions being pushed or pulled over them.

Reading above, got me thinking even more about Madeleine & whether there could have been an accident in the holiday apartment.

With her having been excited on holiday with Kate saying that MM told her that she had the best day ever & also Kate saying that MM asked her why didn’t you come to us when we were crying (a call for attention), Madeleine calling for her daddy a long time heard by Pamela Fenn, twins crying keeping MM awake & sometimes having to sleep in the parents bed, Kate apparently slept in the childrens room with them one night too - so the children were obviously restless sleepers. (Strange then that the twins sleeping so heavily when everyone was shouting & running around in the apartment looking for Madeleine gone missing, that they didn’t wake up).

Perhaps Madeleine walked around the holiday apartment, not seeing mummy & daddy there, got upset/frightened, climbed up on somewhere like the sofa that was apparently pushed against the window so that she could look outside to see if she could see them  – it could have been possible for there to have been an accident, if the sofa tipped over or she slipped, hitting her head for example.
Perhaps Madeleine could also have slid open the rear patio doors that were left unlocked, ran/slipped & fallen down the concrete stairs in the dark.

But, if that was the case, where is Madeleine?

Surely someone would have found her & rushed her to the local hospital, as LuzDoc medical centre I believe is a 24hr service & is only about 10 minutes walk to get to it from where the McCann group were staying, if they had no car.

Odd that Martin Smith & his family saw a man carrying the blonde girl, just outside of LuzDoc medical centre, then the Smith family later saying that it was Gerry.

Not even one of the GNR said that there were signs of a break in when they arrived, the roll-up blind/shutters were not jemmied at all as was put out in the news, & I still find it odd that the only finger prints on the supposedly opened window, was that of Kates & it’s been said that they had never opened the window while they stayed there.

There does seem to be some sort of cover-up. Matthew James has mentioned in the past that there may have been a ‘plant’ of MM’s DNA - but by who? So gives the impression that it was a staged abduction?? Taking her away & holding her until a certain time?

Matthew has an interesting post of 27-1-10 saying that it seems a certain character may know who took MM, but he doesn’t give any clues to who, but seems to link with his posts of 19-1-10 & 09-1-10.

Yea u r right, accidents do happen, and well at the end there is only one person that knows, or maybe more than one, but we r just gonna have to keep making assumptions until the truth comes out, Im sure we'll all be shocked.
I just hope that justice will be make for MM and manyy otherss
